The League of Mexican American Women is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and since its inception, 45 years
ago, has been a leader in enriching the community. The original purpose of the League of Mexican American Women was to encourage
involvement in community affairs.
The League has focused and expanded its efforts in the area of education. Over the past 40
plus years more than 3 million dollars
has been awarded to students living in the state of Arizona who can not afford to attend an Arizona college, university, or
trade school.Please join us at our monthly general membership meetings. The
general meetings take place every 3rd Wednesday of the month and are held at the American Legion, 330 West Franklin Street.
Membership dues are $30 per year.
